Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be able to continue using assets after my subscription ends?

Yes. Our license allows you to continue using downloaded assets.

Can I unsubscribe and then resubscribe later?

Yes, you absolutely can. However, we would greatly appreciate it if you lowered your subscription to the minimal Supporter tier instead of canceling it altogether. This helps keep our Patreon more financially stable and predictable.

Will I get support after my subscription ends?

We will still answer your inquiries. However, we won't be able to share any fixed or updated files unless you have an active subscription corresponding to the asset in question. For example, an active Professional subscription tier is required to access files related to the World Space Global Illumination asset.

Are there any exceptions?

Yes. If you reported an issue while your subscription was active and we started investigating it, we will follow through and provide fixes even after your subscription ends. However, not all issues qualify for this exception. For example, most compatibility issues—such as an asset not working with DLSS, BRG, multiple cameras, or another specific feature—will be treated as missing features and addressed in future asset versions rather than as fixes.

What if I find an issue after my subscription has ended?

You can reach out to us for guidance. Some issues can be resolved without requiring fixes or updates. However, we won't be able to provide a fixed or updated version unless you have an active subscription of the appropriate tier. We recommend evaluating and testing downloaded assets while your subscription is active.

Will I receive updates or new versions after my subscription ends?

No. An active subscription of the appropriate tier—for example, Professional for the World Space Global Illumination asset—is required to receive updates and new versions.

Will you add new assets to the existing subscription tiers?

Yes. We will continue expanding the list of available assets within existing subscription tiers.

Will all new assets and updates be released on Patreon first?

Yes. Our plan is to provide Patreon subscribers with the latest versions and assets before releasing them on the Unity Asset Store.

Will all assets available on Patreon eventually be released on the Unity Asset Store?

No. Assets categorized as Tools are exclusive to Patreon subscribers. Other assets may—and most likely will—be released on the Unity Asset Store at some point. We do not provide an ETA because release timelines depend on each asset's development stage. It may take anywhere from weeks to months for an asset to appear on the store.

Is there any difference between assets published on Patreon and the Asset Store?

No. They are the same assets, although Patreon versions are usually updated first.
